Residential Design
This project began in 2018 with the acquisition of some land with a dilapidated agricultural building and woefully unimaginative outline planning permission. My task was to re-imagine a replacement building, still within the essential form and footprint of the existing building and how it could be better set into the land with landscaping.
Every detail of the building’s external and interior design was specified and sourced by Elizabeth, as well as landscaping and planting, always holding in mind the potential purchasers she imagined would love to live there.
The new owners knew immediately that it was right for them and they have since added their touches to the canvass created for them.
The property sold for £1.85m in 2019 and was placed back on the market in late 2021 by Savills at a guide price £2.75m describing it as a “Superbly designed detached house, showcasing contemporary architecture at its very best.”
